A Whisper That Changed My Life

I can still hear the gentle whisper in my ear from a pastor long ago. I was just seventeen when he spoke these words: “You are going to be a pastor someday.”

That was forty-six years ago. At the time, I was young and didn’t understand what he meant. But today, I can say with certainty—it was a prophetic word that changed my life.

Through the years, I’ve walked a path filled with lessons, growth, and grace. I’ve faced rejection, persecution, and even hatred, yet never to the point of falling away. Each trial has only deepened my faith and strengthened my calling.

I am profoundly grateful that Jesus chose me. The journey has been transformative, and the Holy Spirit has been my greatest encourager—my constant help in times of trouble.
